Railway dust suppression vehicles are widely used in railway coal transportation, coal and mineral mining, coal mines, mines, ports, docks, power plants, cement plants, steel mills, coking plants, coal washing plants, smelting plants, metallurgical plants, dust workshops, artificial beaches and desert areas, local sandstorms, sand fixation, etc., where dust is prone to be raised. This vehicle can also perform functions such as watering, dust suppression, washing the road surface, and spraying dust suppressant on coal-carrying trains. The use of coal transportation dust suppressant spraying vehicles has a very obvious effect in saving energy and reducing costs. It is both environmentally friendly and improves the environment.
The entire vehicle is equipped with fully intelligent electronic control operations, including the vehicle’s spray system, mixing function, rotating arm function, heating function, single vehicle flow meter, etc. Except for the self-pumping and self-discharging functions of the chassis and water tank, all other functions are powered by the onboard auxiliary generator set, and the distribution box is equipped with an external power connection socket.
The sprinkler system is equipped with single-unit flow meters (used to measure the amount of dust suppressant sprayed onto each train car). The sprinkler system is also equipped with a hook and tie stop spraying system (contact-type sensor spraying, with no spraying between two train cars), featuring car number identification and recording functions. The entire vehicle sprinkler system, the single-unit flow meters, and the car number identification and recording functions are all connected to and reflected on the intelligent computer screen.
When in the standby state, the spraying arm is located above the maintenance and recovery platform parallel to the railway track; when in the working state, after the locomotive with the traction device passes through, the spraying arm rotates to a position perpendicular to the carriage, while adjusting the height to a position 30 cm above the train carriage. Through the vehicle identification system, the vehicle model and number are detected, and under the control of PLC, the spraying drum starts the spraying operation according to the principle of stopping spraying at the hook position. After the spraying is completed, the system switches to the cleaning state, cleaning the pipelines and nozzles, and the cleaning liquid flows back to the mixing tank. When the vehicle speed is within the range of 0.5 - 1.0 km/h, the spraying control system can achieve uniform coverage of the coal-carrying vehicles and ensure that it does not affect the safety and normal operation of the locomotive and vehicles.
